ROLLING RAZOR SUPPORTS RALLY FOR KIDS WITH CANCER EVENT WITH EVA LONGORIA PARKER
ROLLING RAZOR, HOLLYWOOD CELEBRITIES AND PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES JOINED FORCES TO RAISE AWARENESS
Los Angeles, CA, May 2, 2009 – The Jeans & Jewels Gala Dinner was held on a private estate located in Beverly Hills and was an experience like no other. Celebrities and guests alike where inspired by the philanthropic spirit and offered spontaneous one-of-a-kind experiences which helped Rally for Kids generate over $400,000 in one night during the Live Auction!
Rolling Razor executives were on hand to lend their support and razors to guests like Gene Simmons, Shannon Tweed, Stephen Baldwin, Tony Parker and Terry Crews, to name a few. The evening was a celebration held to recognize the unparalleled strength of all those children battling cancer. It was spectacular.
One of the esteemed guests was a young woman by the name of Lauren Valdes, who at the very young age of 14 addressed everyone in attendance and eloquently spoke of her fight against cancer and the amputation of her leg below the knee. When you hear stories like Lauren's there really is no need for "magic", just the strong desire to raise awareness and the sheer determination to see an end to this devastating disease!
